Precious "black wootz" steel (also known as "kara taban" or "kara kharassan" ), intensive high contrast watered pattern throughout entire blade. 
Original scabbard with wodden inserts made from very heavy gauge of silver. 
Highest quality workmanship throughout, all parts 100% original. 
Silver is apparently unmarked.

About 14 5/8 in. (37.2 cm) long out of scabbard.
Blade is about 9 1/4 in. (23.5 cm) long.
   condition:
Excellent original antique condition with minor honest wear and light charming indication of age. 
Uncleaned damascus blade is excellent.
Silver parts are in excellent original condition with minor handling marks and light age wear. 
No repairs.
