Very rare form fine quality antique russian samovar. 
Super rare original nickel plating (nickel plated brass).
Marked on the lid with batashov factory in tula maker's mark, russian imperial eagle and medals. 
Also marked on the lid in russian: "??????????? ??????? ????????" - translates to english: "nickel plating was done by batashov factory".
Circa late 19th - early 20th century, imperial period.

Very heavy - over 13 lb. (about 6 kilograms).

Excellent original antique uncleaned condition with normal charming indication of age. 
Some expected wear to nickel plating around the base and at high edges. 
Chimney lid fits perfect, but has a brighter color of plating. Probably an old, same period replacement. 
All other parts are 100% original.
No noticeable dents.
Door under the base to remove ash is intact.
Samovar holds water - no leaks. 
No problems - no repairs.
