Memento mori motif - owl on top of human skull.
European, circa 19th century. 
Marked on the side with small hallmark and "800" (unfortunately, i was not able to identified this hallmark, looks like import mark, shows that item was imported and import tax was paid). 
Made of solid silver (800/1000 european silver standard, lower than sterling). 
Finest possible quality, meticulous attention to smallest crisp realistic details. 
Anatomically correct human skull.
Superbly cast owl bird with original glass eyes.

Very good original antique condition with normal charming indication of age. 
Minor expected handling marks. 
No problems - no repairs. 
Was never engraved for a seal.
