Handle is marked with two sets of silver hallmarks: "800" and maker's mark. 
Handle is made of 800 silver, most common european silver standard: 800/1000, lower than sterling.

About 36 3/4 in. (93.4 cm) long.
Large silver handle is about 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm) wide.
Shaft is about 7/8 in. (2.2 cm) diameter under silver handle.

Very good original antique condition with normal expected handling marks and charming indication of age.
Very light expected wear to wooden shaft.
Very minor expected scratches and dings to silver handle.
Minor age wear to original cattle h0rn ferrule (tip of the shaft).
