Outstanding, large and heavy solid silver russian cigarette case. 
Moscow, circa 1908 - 1917.
Rare model, "bogatyr" motif. 
Marked inside on both parts with 84 russian silver hallmarks for moscow, 1908 - 1917 period, maker's mark is unreadable.
In 1920's it was re-stamped with "875"  soviet hallmarks - common practice for that period, because many confiscated old silver and gold items were re-sold by soviet government from "torgsin" stores for hard currency.  
Engraved on the back with later presentation inscription - also common in ussr in the middle of 20th century. (english translation: "for good memory from co-workers, 10 / 19 / 1950").
   Condition:
 Very good original antique condition with charming expected indication of age - some very minor normal scratches and handling marks, mentioned just for accuracy. 
Original gilding inside is in excellent original antique condition. 
Rubber straps need to be replaced.
No repairs.

 About 4 1/2 in. (11.5 cm) long and about 3 7/16 in. (8.7 cm) wide.
   Weight:
 About 5.9 troy oz. (186 grams) - feels heavy for the size.
