Magnificent antique russian silver tea set. 
Tea pot, sugar bowl and creamer.
Very unusual design, outstanding quality.
Largest peice - the tea pot is about 5 in. (12.7 cm) tall and 8 3/4 (22.2 cm) wide from spout to handle.
Total silver weight of three pieces is about 37.9 troy oz. - 1178 grams. Very heavy for the size! Made of very heavy gauge of silver.
Excellent original antique condition with minimum amount of normal wear, absolutely no problems or repairs. Original gilding inside is excellent.
Each piece is marked under the base and on the lid with russian silver hallmarks for st petertsburg, 84 silver standard. Maker's mark "al". 
Aron lydikain (lydicke) silversmith, born 1819, had a shop and retail store in st. Petersburg 1849 - 1881. Examples of his work are in the collection of state historical museum in moscow (postnikova-loseva book, page 187).
