Wonderful pair of antique brass sabbath (shabbat) candlesticks.
Russian / polish, imperial period, circa late 19th - early 20th century. 
Much better quality than usual for this type of candlesticks, bases are made of very heavy gauge brass metal.
Each marked under the base, fraget marks for 1896 - 1914 period. 
Each candlestick is about 13 in. (33 cm) tall.
Uncleaned, "as found" condition.
Originally were silver-plated, but plating is almost completely worn off.
 Overall good original antique condition with charming indication of age. Significant wear to silver-plating, just a traces of plating are present at some spots. Minor expected dents and scratches. One old repair - don't downgrade appearance or functionality - please see last picture.
