Fine antique bird head short sword / dagger.

Silver koftgari decorated bird's head grip (handle). 
Fine quality workmanship, meticulous attention to small details.
Very sharp hand forged "flambe" blade (maybe damascus watered wootz steel, but we can't guarantee that, it needs professional polishing and etching in order to find-out).
No scabbard.

Blade is about 16 1/2 in. (41.9 cm) long and 1 13/16 in. (4.6 cm) wide at widest point.

Overall very good original antique condition, shows expected age wear and normal handling marks.
Uncleaned blade is in very good condition with very (very!) Minor old pitting, no active rust. 
Light wear to koftgari silver decoration on iron grip.
No repairs.
