Fine quality antique european dagger / fighting knife.
Superb quality workmanship throughout, meticulous attention to small details, high quality materials.
Probably german, solingen, circa late 19th - early 20th century. 
Most likely was made for south american market.
Three pieces round h0rn grip (domestic cattle h0rn, legal to sell, mentioned to comply with ebay policy).
Center section of the grip is set with small iv0ry "dotes" (antique over 100 years old item, contains less that 5% of iv0ry, legal to sell on ebay). 
High quality complex hand forget sturdy blade.
Blade marked: "t. R. S. M.". 
Stell hand-guard.
No scabbard (most likely original scabbard was made of leather).

Dagger is about 12 7/8 in. (32.7 cm) long.  
Blade is about 8 1/4 in. (21 cm) long and 7/8 in. (2.3 cm) wide under hand-guard.
  condition:
Very good original antique uncleaned condition with minor honest wear and charming indication of age.
Some play to hand-guard.
Some light scattered dark spots and very (very!) Shallow pitting to blade, mentioned just for 100% accuracy, blade should clean up nicely. 
Wear to gold original plating at ricasso.
