Military motif, most definitely was made to use as a shooting competition trophy, but was never engraved with presentation inscription.

Exceptional quality hand chased repousse decoration, meticulous attention to smallest realistic details. 
London, circa 1860, made by george angell, famous, one of the best london silversmith of victorian era. 
Fully marked with set of english sterling hallmarks for london, 1860, makers mark for george angell. 
Also marked around the base: "lambert coventry st. London".

About 5.4 troy oz. (167 grams), good weight for the size. 
  condition:
Very good original antique condition with light charming indication of age and minor expected handling marks. 
Crisp details, was never polished on polishing wheel. 
No monogram or mono removal.
No repairs. 
Difficult to photograph item - all dark and light spots that appear in the pictures is just a reflection.
