Magnificent antique silver-gilt enamel jeweled snuff box - pill box. 
Austrian ( austro - hungarian ), circa late 19th - early 20th century.
Very fine quality, meticulous attention to smallest details.
Round blue enamel medallion at the top with silver snakes, set with large natural oval faceted garnet, 2 small garnets and 6 small natural pearls.  
Top is also set with 18 small faceted garnets and 4 pearls. 
Marked inside on both parts with austro - hungarian silver hallmarks (1867 - 1922 period), maker's mark "kta". 
Guaranteed solid silver - 800/1000 silver standard (lower than sterling standard).

Excellent original antique condition with normal charming indication of age.
