European, probably italian, circa early 20th century. 
Very fine quality hand painted enamel miniature at the top. 
Hand engraved decoration on the back.
Bright gold gilt interior.
Marked inside "800"- guaranteed solid silver (800/1000 silver standard, lower than sterling).
   condition:
Good original antique condition with some expected minor handling marks and very light charming indication of age.
No problems with enamel.
Gold gilding inside is excellent.
