Wonderful super rare sterling silver spoon. 
American, made by towle silver company, circa late 19th century.
Silver mine scene on front and miner's tools on the back. Crisp realistic details, showing process of mining silver, above and under ground. 
About 5.7 in. (14.6 cm) long.
Silver weight is 1.3 troy oz. - 41 grams
Excellent original antique condition with minimum amount of normal wear, no repairs. No monogram or mono removed.
Marked on the back with towle sterling hallmarks. 
Very difficult to photograph -  all dark spots you are seeing in the pictures is just a reflection and light tarnishing.
